Meet Michelle
Blue Wave was founded by Michelle Morrison in 2019. Michelle is a Chartered Accountant and an experienced and award-winning bookkeeper - named ICNZB Emerging Bookkeeper of the year in 2020 - but her ability to help others understand software systems and put them to work for their business is what sets her apart.
Michelle has worked within multiple industries, developing experience across IT accounting systems, management reporting and day-to-day accounting. This experience in business optimisation through accounting software inspired her to step out on her own to help more small business owners leverage the strength of cloud solutions.
Michelle is a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Xero Certified Advisor and has trusted relationships with accountants and tax agents throughout New Zealand.
Down-to-earth, articulate and approachable, Michelle takes the overwhelm and complexity out of the often daunting process of setting up or understanding new software. Think of her like your software sidekick, ensuring you have the knowledge and confidence to grow your business. With her help, you can free up time for the people and things you love, and sleep a little easier at night knowing exactly where your numbers stand.
